Huntress Charters offers any trip you may want from cruises, sandbar trips, crabbing, back bays flounder fishing, wreck fishing and off shore tuna fishing. We are equipped with two licensed captains operating on our three boats: a 24 ft. Carolina Skiff, a 25 ft. Carolina Skiff and a 34 ft. Venture center console. Back Bays

Gear up for an exciting four hour trip with our licensed Master Captain Justin as he takes you to his favorite spots for flounder, croaker, spot, and whiting. Additionally, wildlife such as dolphins, ponies and birds can often times be spotted.

Options Include:

8am-12pm

1pm-5pm

$90 a person or inquire about a private trip (6 max)

Wreck Fishing

Book a trip to experience a local favorite: Wreck fishing. Possible catches include flounder, sea bass, trigger fish, and more.

Options Include:

4 hour trip( Inshore): $600 up to 4 people

($100 per additional person)

8 hour trip (offshore): $1400 per boat

(6 people max per trip)

Offshore

Join Captain John to embark on a full day of fishing. This 12 hour trip includes the possibility of tuna, marlin, mahi and more. Lucky fisherman have also spotted whales, dolphin, sea turtles, and sharks on this trip.

Custom

If you you'd like a fully customizable trip for the back bays, just ask! We can sight see for dolphins and ponies, enjoy the day out at the sandbars, crab, clam, or any other ideas you might have!

All prices shown reflect cash prices. To reserve your date, we require a deposit that will be put towards your final total. At the time of charter, if you wish to pay the remaining total with a card, there will be a 4 % electronic service fee. Thank you for understanding and supporting this local small business.

Captains

Captain John Chenault

Founder of Huntress Charters, Captain John is a true waterman. He has been fishing out of Chincoteague for over 20 years and has never returned empty handed.

Having such love for fishing and the island, he has passed on his knowledge and skills to his son, Captain Justin.

Captain Justin Chenault

Captain Justin has served 8 years in the United States Coast Guard where he earned his Master Captain's license. He has been fishing in Chincoteague since he was a young kid. He specializes in back bay and wreck fishing charters and offers them 7 days a week in Chincoteague.
